My doc just put me on Tramadol HCL...generic for Ultram. Anybody know about it? - ultram hcl
Yes, I have on this med for 2 years for the pain of fibromyalgia. It is a very simple painkillers. Nothing to do with drugs, but it is safer than ibuprofen for the stomach. Sometimes I sleep.

Tramadol is a synthetic opioid used intravenous IV for mild to moderate pain in trauma patients. To give an example, I have given in a patient with fractures of the TIB FIB help to rail and it worked.
I did not have much success with tramadol whiplash neck injury. You may have better luck with it. Finally, the doctor gave me a prescription for generic Vicodin, may help, but I think it is the long term by Vicodin can be addicting, I think.
Stick with the tramadol to see for a while, if it helps, if not go to the doctor and plan B as I did. Good luck to you!
