The sigmoid sinus is a vein in the back of the brain and a diverticulum is simply a natural consequence.

I'm curious whether this refers to a Sigma diverticulum is a common condition where small pockets in the sigmoid colon.

If you look at the picture I have the Sigma in the form contain multiple diverticula (pleura) and one is broken. It's pretty simple, but may be what they are in contrast to the diverticulum of the sigmoid sinus (want something much less usual).
